Significance of Sri Bhagavathi Seva

Bhagavathi Seva is an ancient and powerful ceremony honoring Goddess Rajarajeshwari, who is revered for prosperity, fertility, purity, and abundance. The special Kerala-style Pooja is performed to cleanse the aura of negativity surrounding you and correct the destabilizing influences of the planets, thereby restoring peace and harmony in your life. The practice is prevalent chiefly in the South Indian state of Kerala, and is performed by expert priests to fulfill wishes, relieve misery, and restore balance in the world.

This ritual is performed mainly in the evening with worship offered to Goddesses Parvati, Durga or Kali. Performing this Pooja can enable you to receive the benign grace of the Goddess and bestow longevity, health, wealth, and happiness.

Bhagavathi Seva is an esoteric Pooja, which requires many prerequisites to be fulfilled to establish divine connection with the Supreme Goddess. The priest is required to wear clean new clothes after duly cleansing himself with ablutions and the Pooja can be performed at home or in a temple. The Kerala-style mantra chanting with signs requires devotion and it is recommended while performing this ritual to protect the participants from any external disturbances. When the Goddess is pleased with the adulation showered on her, she shall bestow on you her abundant blessings for a contented and blissful life.
