Rajagopuram – A scientific, mathematical, and architectural marvel based on Cosmic Plan
The Rajagopuram of Eternal Mother Temple has been designed and constructed in accordance with the cosmic plan and Astronomical time measure units. This structure is called ‘Sthula Lingam’ or gross energy form. Divine Mother Parashakthi our primary deity in the main sanctum will be ‘Sukshma Lingam’ or subtle energy form. Rajagopuram (Sthula Lingam) is not mer structure but a manifested form of unmanifested primary energy source, Divine Mother or Sukshma Lingam and an embodiment of primal energy of Devi Parashakthi.
When a ray of light passes through a prism, a single beam of light divides into seven beautiful colors – VIBGYOR, Similarly, the unmanifested subtle energy form of Parashakthi from the main sanctum is transformed into numerous manifested forms that beautify the four faces of Rajagopuram (Prism). Hence “Gopura Darisanam Koti Punyam” – meaning any devotee visiting our energized Rajagopuram will get Koti (10 million) blessings since this is not a mere structure but a representation of Divine itself in the physical form.
The Major Deities will be
Adi Parashakthi (Maha Mayee KaRuMari) on the
seventh floor of the Eastern Elevation,
Maha Vishnu (Sri Venkateswara) on the
Western elevation along with Nataraja (
Lord Siva) on the
Southern elevation and
Lord Brahma on the
Northern elevation. The base of the Gopuram will have a unique representation of the
Sri Chakra and the
seven floors on each elevation will be dedicated to various aspects of
Shakthi, Shiva and Maha Vishnu making this the only tower in the world with this unique and powerful combination. Different aspects of Lord Ganesha, Lord Subramanya along with the great Sages in Hinduism will be present along with Ashta Dasa (18) Maha Shakthi Peetams and other Major aspects of Shakthi.
