Jyestha Purnima is one of the most auspicious day celebrated in Sri Jagannatha Calendar. On this auspicious day devotees get darshan of Mahasnana (Holy Bath) of Sri Chaturddha Muratti (Sri Balabhadra, Devi Subhadra, Sri Jagannatha and Sri Sudarshana) on Snana Bedi at Puri. In honour of this auspicious day, Sri Jagannatha devotees here will also get an oppportunity to participate in this once a year Abhishekam of Chaturddha Muratti in our temple. Devotees will get an opportunity to do a parikrama in temple premise carrying Kalasha for Mahasnana.
After Abhishekam Devotees will get darshan of Sri Balabhadra and Sri Jagannatha (in form of Sri Ganesha) which is also popularly known as Hathi Besha (The Elephant Alankaram) in Odisha. After Devasnana Purnima Deities will go for Anasara for 15 days. During the ‘Anasara’ period, the devotees cannot see their Gods. The idols of Lord Jagannath, Devi Subhadra and Lord Balabhadra then appear for public viewing only 15 days after, that is, the day just before the famous Ratha Yatra.
Devotees may bring flowers, coconuts, banana , and fruits.

New beautiful and individual Sannidanam will be built for Sri Puri Jagannatha along with Sri Balabhadra, Devi Subhadra and Sri Sudarshana with beautifully carved granite depicting our ancient temple culture.
We can all be a part of this unique opportunity to share the immense blessing with the entire world by actively participating in improving and maintaining "Her" vortex of energy at our Temple. Once completed, this exquisite tower and entire temple, adorned with all its embellishments and sculptures will be majestic and profound.
