It was the morning of October 17th, 2011 when Dr.
Balamurali Krishna arrived at my house. For those who do
not know him, he is a legendary musician and a
Padmabhushan awardee. He is a highly accomplished
singer, able to sing perfectly in three octaves, as well
as being renowned as a composer, poet, and
instrumentalist. Even in his younger days, he showed
promise of his musical dexterity. At the mere age of
fourteen, he composed a detailed work known as Raganga
Ravali on all 72 Melakartas (basic scales of Carnatic
music). Throughout his life, Balamurali Krishna has
composed over six hundred compositions.
When I picked him up at the airport, I did not fail to
notice his pale face and acute cough. And though it
seemed as if his lungs were about to pop, he managed to
keep a smiling face. At home we tried many remedies to
ease his throat but nothing appeared to work, and he
spent a difficult night. The next morning I took him to
see my personal physician. He would have back-to-back
concerts the coming weekend and I was eager to help him
get better. However, the doctor felt that he would have
to cancel his weekend concerts and give his throat more
time to heal.
But then, miracles began to happen. I took him to the
Parashakthi temple in Pontiac and the priests were
ecstatic and surprised to see this legend. Hardly anyone
was in the temple, that evening being a weekday. He
walked around the temple like a typical south Indian man
with his hands behind his back and talking about the
vibrations inside the temple sanctum. After a while, he
sat in front of Amma and invited me to sing with him.
Delighted as I was, I felt somewhat nervous at the
prospect of singing with such a widely known and
respected musician. But to my pleasant surprise, he
rendered Om Kara Karini in Lavangi, one of my favorite
compositions.
I sang with him, and I was spellbound as he easily
drifted through multiple octaves with amazing sangatis
with no sign of lung infection. This was followed by an
excellent composition “Amba Mamava Akhila Jagadamba
Mamava”. Just as effortlessly, he breezed through
Ranjani, Niranjani and Janaranjani as though his cough
had never existed. I knew this was a sign from the
goddess Herself. Needless to say, Amma made sure he
completed his weekend concerts with ease.

I took a yoga class and when I worship in the temple, I
can feel the energy rise almost effortlessly. I do not
experience the same intensity at home or at any other
place. I have done this for 2 years and whenever I have
come with a question in my mind, I always found the
answers after my meditation. The recent consecration of
Dhristi Peedam is so powerful that I find it difficult to
stand without shaking. I feel so blessed to be able to
visit the temple every week.

I was jobless before visiting the parashakthi temple here
in Detroit. I heard about power of and grace of Mother
Parashakthi from friends. Finally Visit the temple and
perform Arti in front of Mother Parashakthi Maa and
expressed my wish by simply looking into Mother
Parashakthi's eyes. And yes, it was just miracle and her
blessing that I got very good Job within 2 months. There
are few more amazing experiences but for me words are very
shorts to express it.

About 1 week ago I was talking to Dr. Bruce Feyz,
Cardiologist of Monroe, MI and the conversation touch the
Jejuno-iIleum.
I was able to talk to him, actually, recite to him, many
of the facts related to it, that you taught me over 34
years ago. I went on to the bile, the B12, the pancreas,
the Zollinger Ellison tumors, the bronchial adenoma, etc.
I was able to remember this things, because of the
brilliant way you used to explained medicine and the
passionate, almost poetic way you talked about it.
I live in Miami, FL, retired. You are one of those people
I never forget. I hope you are well and still on top of
things.

Parashakthi amman
As a devotee of eternal mother Parashakthi, I would like
to write the mystical experience happened for me and my
husband. We are the couple who desperately wanted a child.
I had lot of physical and mental problems and confusions.
Whenever we visited Parashakthi amman we had a peace of
mind. One Friday evening we prayed her very much, and as a
result of Parashakthi Karumari amman blessing we had a
baby boy in year 2003. He is 5 ½ months old now. I always
think, he is the son of amma Karumari and my duty is to
take good care of him. I also prayed to amma, when I read
about “The divine mystical happenings at the Parashakthi
Temple” in (Jan to Jun 2002) Om Shakthi magazine, that I
will also write a letter to the Temple about her blessing
for us to have a baby. I also had a chance to get Ambal’s
Saree on New Year 2002 and tie it. I truly believe that it
is due to amman’s blessing only. Our Divine Mother is
helping us all in many ways in our day to day life.

I had a very strange experience at Parashakti temple. I
came to this temple because someone told me about the
power of this temple. I lost my son and I was looking for
an answer for it. I always asked 'why I lost him', the
same qn over and over again in many temples,to many
deities for the last 10 yrs.During my darshan I looked at
parashakti amman's eyes and asked the qn. 'why', pls
giveme an answer, at leastI can sleep one nightwithout
guilt. When I opened my eyes, I saw a strange sight near
Parashakti amma on the RHS of amma. Due to privacy
reasons, I donot want to mention that here. My mind kept
on bothering me since then why I saw that strange sight as
soon as I asked my qn. Another time, my husband just
sugggested all on a sudden to visit Parashakti amman
temple. I was so happy and I came there and looking at
amman's eyes, I closed my eyes and asked my qn again' why?
atleast one night I can sleep without guilt.As soon as I
opened my eyes,I saw the same 'strange sight' on the RHS
of amman. I was puzzled, confused. I looked at amman's
eyes and told myself in tears. If I see this sight once
more during my next visit with the same qn, I may
assume/guess some answers from this sight. But then I saw
the same sight again infrontof Swami Ayyappan with no one
around. I walked to that spot and I heard myself
everything the same exact way that happened to my son.
Then ayyappa song was going on, I was kind of shivering
then and I was sweating a lot that I almost fell down
there. Oh parashakti amman, seeking one answer for the
loss of myson, you narrated the entire story to me with 3
definite clear answers. I just cannot believe it. My
husband came to that spot and he helped me to get up. My
son was taken away from us to save me and my husband and
my daughter in a way???And that too because we didnot keep
up our promise to Lord ayyappan when my daughter was born.
Ohhh Parashakti amman, I bow at your feet, pls guide my
broken family in a positive way. Please guide my family, I
really wish to come and see you often..Find some light in
our life........... we r stuck in the darkness.....No more
challenges pleaseeeeeeeee we r not able to take it . We
went througha lot. I really believe Parashakti amma will
guide our lives from here on. A true devotee.

Om Namah Shivaya
I just want to say that I am so thankful to receive
Spatika Lingam from Parashakthi temple on Shivratri. I was
unable to attend the pooja in person on Shivratri Day but
came in on following Monday for Shivji's pooja and to
receive the Spatika Lingam from Dr. Ravi Kumar. I was
going thru some hard times at that time and needed someone
to guide me towards the right direction. Dr. Ravi Kumar is
very generous person. For someone like me who was lost,
didn't know much about the pooja, what to do with the
Spatika Lingam, it was nice of him to take some time out
to explain everything to me. I recite the Shiva Mantra and
pray to Lord Shiva every morning while I offer water and
milk to Spatika Lingam. Ever since I have been doing that,
I feel like I am totally different person. I feel a lot
more relaxed, at peace and believe that He is watching me.
Shiv ji will take care of everything and make everything
better. I feel like the more I pray, the more I am getting
closer to Shiv ji. My life is changing for good and things
have actually started to get a lot better. This is a total
transformation for me as I have been brought up with
different religion and values. My thoughts and feelings
have totally changed towards religion and I have started
believing more and more in Shivji than ever before.
Another thing I want to share with you is that I was
surprised at what happened to me earlier this week. I had
asked Shiv ji for something one day and that same day,
later in the afternoon, I received a mail from Parashakthi
Temple. I wasn't expecting anything as I already had
gotten the Spatika Lingam. When I opened it, there was a
little ziplock bag with kumkum and Shri Ganesh ji's
pendant in there. I was little confused and surprised when
I saw it as I said, I wasn't expecting anything like that.
I thanked Shivji again for it and called Dr. Kumar to
confirm that it wasn't sent to me by a mistake or
something. After talking to Dr. Kumar again, listening to
his words and everything, he made me realize that good
things do happen and Shivji will give you what you ask
for. I just have to keep believing in him. I was so happy
that day to receive it, I am sure Dr. Kumar can tell you.
I do feel and consider myself lucky now to receive both
Spatika Lingam and Shri Ganesh ji's pendant when I wasn't
expecting it. I still have a lot to learn from Dr. Kumar
and from this temple. I hope Dr. Kumar can keep guiding me
and teach me more about religion. I just want to say thank
you again and thank Dr. Kumar for coming into my life and
giving me an opportunity to be closer to Shiv ji. I wish I
had taken this step and had someone to guide me earlier
but as they say its better late than never. Thank you
again!

With job I am able to balance home and work and takecare
of my son. He too is a devotee of Maa Parashakti. There
