  • Laxmi Narasimha Avatar is described in the Bhagavatam. Worshipping Lord Narasimha along with Mahalakshmi endows the devotee with wealth, health, prosperity, longevity and protects the devotees from disease and malefic effects of planets.

    Sri Nrisimha Bheejamala Sthotram:

    Ugram Veeram Mahavishnum Jwalantham Sarvathomugam;
Narasimham bheeshanam bhadram Mruthyu mrutyu Namamyaham

    Translation:

"I bow down to Lord Narasimha who is ferocious and heroic like Lord Vishnu.
He is burning from every side. He is terrific, auspicious and the death of death personified."

Laxmi Narasimha Avatar is described in the Bhagavatam. Worshipping Lord Narasimha along with Mahalakshmi endows the devotee with wealth, health, prosperity, longevity and protects the devotees from disease and malefic effects of planets.

    The Nrisimha Gayatris

    “Om Nrisimhaye vidmahe
    vajranakhaya dhimahi
    tan nah simhah pracodayat”

“Om. Let us think and become aware of Nrisimha, the lightning-nailed. May the Lion promote our thought.”

    “ vajra nakhaya vidmahe
    tikshna damstraya dhimahi
    tan no narasimhah prachodayat”

“Let us meditate on He who is known as the possessor of nails as hard as thunderbolts and sharp teeth. Let us be elevated by Lord Narasimhadeva.”

    Kavacham (Prahlada)
    “nrisimha-kavacham vakshye
    prahladenoditam puraa
    sarva-raksha-karam punyam
    sarvopadrava-naashanam”

Significance of Chanting the Kavacham The Narasimha-kavacha, formerly spoken by Prahlada Maharaja. is most pious, vanquishes all kinds of impediments, and provides one all protection.

It bestows upon one all opulence and can give one elevation to the heavenly planets or liberation. One should meditate on Lord Narasimha, Lord of the universe, seated upon a golden throne.

This Narasimha-kavacha has been ornamented by issuing from the mouth of Prahlada Maharaja. A devotee who reads this becomes freed from all sins.

Lord Narasimha is one of the ten avatars of Mahavishnu.

    Maha Mandala Puja

The Maha Mandala Abhishekam and Puja is conducted on any day from the 43 to the 48 day after the installation of the deity. This period constitutes a Mandalam or a circle. A Mandalam is a graphical representation of the Universe and the Center of the Mandalam represents the Supreme. Likewise, when a vigraham of the God is consecrated and installed, special abhishekam and puja are conducted every day during the Mandala period which then culminates in the Maha Mandala Abhishekamand Puja on the final day of the Mandalam. This Maha Mandala Abhishekam represents the final day when the deity has been fully energized and all the power of the deity resides in the installed vigraha which is now alive. Thus, the Maha Mandala Abhishekam is a very auspicious event and attending and participating in the associated functions is akin to witnessing the deity transforming from a Lakshmi Narasimha vigraha to Narasimha HIMSELF with his consort Laksmi.

Lord Narasimha is one of the ten avatars of Mahavishnu. Divine Mother instructed us over a year ago to install this aspect of "Her" for the protection of the world, since the world is going through a major malefic period at this time, which will last approximately fifteen years. Divine Mother desired to manifest among us to protect all of us on this earth during this period of distress where "Asura" aspects will be maximally manifest. During the past ten years she has protected us from many catastrophes of biblical proportion, some of which still manifested in minor ways through some episodes, such as the September 11th attack on the World Trade Center, tsunami and the rise of violent factions of Islam. A few of us know many close calls we have had in the past six years, from which Divine Mother has saved us.

At this time Mother wishes to manifest as Lakshmi Narasimha to sustain and maintain the earth. In this form, Mahavishnu manifests as Narasimha, where by he becomes the destroyer of "Evil". Hiranya Kasipu is a symbol of all demonic activities. This is a very symbolic mythological episode wherein the maintaining and sustaining divine aspect becomes destructive against "evil. At this time, Divine Mother wishes to manifest among us as Lord Narasimha for our protection and well being. With great compassion and kindness she has instructed us to install Lord Narasimha as Lakshmi Narasimha to accentuate the protective, kind, sustaining and calming aspect of Mother Lakshmi, along with various aspects of Lord Narasimha. In this manifestation, Lord Narasimha not only destroys the "Evil" (Asura), but consumes it and makes it a part of Eternal goodness. In the microcosmic sense, Mother would give us the ability to change all the evil that exists in us and make it angelical. Much more information has been given to us by Divine Mother regarding this manifestation which will all be given to the Devotees who come and demonstrate reverence, devotion and sacrifices before this aspect of her at "Her" temple by pratiaksha devata (revealing Angel) who is very actively manifest at our temple. We will all show our reverence, appreciation and devotion to our Divine Mother for such a timely manifestation. I hope all of us will participate in this great and grand installation and benefit from Divine Mother Parashakthi's benevolence and grace.

Divine Mother directed us to go to a few ancient temples in India and identify proper mystics to create Lakshmi Narasimha Vigraha energize it and consecrate it properly in those holy places before being brought here for installation; as always Divine Mother has provided us through some mystics proper yantras and mantras to be used during installation. Divine Mother has also instructed us about certain Tantric rituals, which will be performed properly so that all the devotees will receive this divine energy in abundance by participating in this grand installation.

It is strongly recommended that devotees take part in this installation by participating as Sponsors under various categories since this will be a once in a life time opportunity to be permanently connected to Lakshmi Narasimha and Divine Mother who is the "creative source" of "all" that exist in this and other universes.

    Sridhar Guruji :

His Holiness Sri V.V.Sridhar Guruji, of Jwala Central trust formerly known as Sri Sudarsana

Siddhi Peetham will participate and lead a unique Yagnam to be conducted in connection with the installation. Guruji is a man with a holy vision on a destined spiritual mission. He is the only living exponent of the nearly forgotten ancient scripture "CHAYA ATHARVA VEDA". Chaya incidentally is an assortment of potent mystic precepts that find expression in five languages; Sanskrit, Prakrit, Pali, Persian and Arabic. Its hymns and practices aim at effectively cleansing the human mind of negative thoughts and the environment of evil Aksharas. Aksharas are spiritually energized abstract entities.

An ardent upasaka of Lord Narasimha, Sri Guruji has evolved a mystic methodology to perform Maha Sudarashana Nrusimha Yagnas with combinations of Dhanwantri and Sarpa Narayana aspects. These aspects are drawn from the Holy Chaya, Krishna Mohana Tantram, Nrusimha Tapinyopanishad and other scriptures. Till Date, Sri Guruji has performed over 68 Maha Yagnams and hundreds of Yantra Poojas for the welfare and well being of the humanity at large. Sri Guruji does not believe in caste, creed or religion. Anyone can participate in his Yagnas.Sri Guruji precepts are lucid, precise and downright earthly but manifesting immense spiritual potential. He helps the devotee to ladder upwards into spiritual bliss through seemingly mundane activity.

Chaya is cosmic and based on sounds, voice modulations and phonetics. The hymns of Chaya are highly preventive and curative. Chaya also deals with the Chayagrahams -i.e. Rahu and Ketu.

Rig Veda conveys to you the external meaning of the earth, Yajur Veda deals with the internal meaning, Sama Veda (sound based) makes you competent to know the external and internal meaning. Having known everything, Atharva Veda emphasizes on implementation (if you know a science you should always implement it of the welfare and well-being of one and all). In the process of implementation, we are bound to make mistakes rectification also is contained in Atharva veda. It is here that Chaya Atharva Veda gains relevance and significance. Krishna Mohana Vidya, Proyaga Vidya and Dakshachara Vidya are combined with Chaya to benefit the humanity at large. Chaya Atharva veda was passed on to Guruji by his beloved masters.

The yagnams performed will be unique compared to what most of us are used to. The difference comes from the fact that the mantras used are from Chaya, the method of worship and the items used for yagnam. Guruji involves devotees in yagmans by asking them to participate in offering to homakundam
